Tier1 Client Council NYC 2025 Recap

On January 15, the SS&C Tier1 Client Council convened in New York City, bringing together industry leaders for an engaging dialogue about innovation, collaboration, and the future of capital markets. The event featured dynamic discussions and a shared commitment to empowering clients through groundbreaking solutions and partnerships. 

A Vision for 2025 

At the center of the dialogue was Tier1's ambitious 2025 roadmap, highlighting transformative initiatives designed to elevate client success. The afternoon’s discussions spanned product demonstrations, customer success strategies, advancements in AI-driven tools, consulting services, and opportunities for clients to shape the future of Tier1 solutions. 

We were honored to welcome Indy Sarker, CEO of ANALEC, who introduced the promising opportunities arising from Tier1’s exciting new partnership with ANALEC. Together, we delved into a shared vision for innovative product solutions and advancements in research publishing. As the demand for research publishing and distribution solutions grows within capital markets, ANALEC brings a competitive edge to our offerings, enabling us to expand the choices available to our clients and deliver tailored solutions that meet their evolving needs. 

The day’s highlights included: 

  • Major investments in Outlook enhancements 
  • Expansive in-app training capabilities 
  • The unveiling of Tier1’s reimagined Prospector offering 
  • Broader consulting services and expanded Tier1 for Lightning capabilities 
  • A deep dive into the evolving AI roadmap, emphasizing smarter workflows and actionable insights

Session 1: 2024 Product Review
 

The 2024 retrospective celebrated significant milestones, including 62 client-requested enhancements across core modules like Client Center, Prospector, and Events. 

Key achievements included: 

  • Tier1 Client Portal: Built on Salesforce Experience Cloud, the portal streamlines client interaction, offering a secure, centralized platform for sharing event details. 
  • Events Calendar Sync: A flexible, hosted solution that automates meeting invites for employees and clients. 

Additional highlights included expanded personalization features like LinkedIn integration, light/dark themes, rich text editing, and improved mobile functionality—all designed to enhance the user experience. 

 

Session 2: 2025 Roadmap, Vision & Product Demos

Tier1’s 2025 roadmap focused on four themes: Outlook, AI & Data Analytics, Tier1 for Lightning, and Core Improvements. 

Exciting investments include: 

  • A modern Outlook add-in 
  • New mass email capabilities 
  • Exchange Sync to enhance adoption and efficiency 

The revamped Prospector tool was a standout, integrating data feeds from LSEG, FactSet, and S&P, while AI-driven features like summarizing financial filings and real-time market updates empower clients with dynamic targeting and actionable insights. 

Product demos showcased advancements in: 

  • Email metrics and saved views 
  • Enhanced Salesforce Lightning integrations 
  • AI tools for chat, workflows, and client engagement 


Session 3: Customer Success

The Customer Success team shared impactful 2024 use cases, including the delivery of 40+ platform upgrades. Clients learned how to leverage Tier1’s consultative approach to optimize workflows, improve operational efficiency, and maximize CRM value. 

Examples included: 

  • Targeted call lists for analysts 
  • Salesforce-native collaboration tools with visual indicators 

 

Session 4: CRM Consulting Services

As a certified Salesforce Partner with over 15 years of experience, Tier1 reaffirmed its leadership in consulting services, offering: 

  • Salesforce implementation and optimization 
  • Training, maintenance, and custom development 

Tier1 helps clients streamline operations and accelerate digital transformation with tailored, impactful solutions leveraging Salesforce automation tools like Apex, Flows and Data Cloud. We keep current with the latest Salesforce innovations through Salesforce certifications such as Data Cloud Consultant, and Certified AI Associate. We are all certified Financial Services Cloud Accredited Professionals and  Financial Service Cloud Professionals. 


Session 5: AI In 2025

The final session explored AI’s transformative role in capital markets. Tier1’s AI initiatives aim to enhance client engagement and operational efficiency through: 

  • Predictive insights into client interests 
  • Optimized outreach strategies 
  • Intelligent Next Best Action recommendations 

Collaborating closely with clients, Tier1 continues to shape AI-powered solutions that address their evolving needs.
